This year, SSU is a partner of ERASMUS + project which has been a winner by European Commission. Foreign partners are Lithuanian Social Sciences College, University of Alicante of Spain, Swedish Technical University and University of United Kingdom. SSU cooperates with Baku Business University in this project and intends creation and development of quality assurance centers. The main purpose of the agreement signed in the framework of foregoing ERASMUS + project is creation and development of quality assurance centers in higher education institutions of Azerbaijan.
For successful implementation of the project a social survey was conducted on April 2, at Sumgayit State University with the leadership of vice-rector for Humanitarian issues of SSU docent Ramiz Huseynov and with the supervision of project staff members, head of Management department docent Galib Huseynov, deputy chief accountant Ravan Rzayev, head of International cooperation office Samira Mammadova and co-worker of Quality Control and Evaluation Section Sadagat Fatullayeva. It should be noted that the survey was conducted according to the project work plan. 
The survey consisted of 43 questions and bachelor, master and PhD students were involved in it. It was conducted in auditoria of every faculty provided with computers and accompanied by project staff members.
