In a changing world, Azerbaijan"s rapid advancement in achieving ruthless competition in the global space necessitates consistent measures for the organization and growth of the country"s economy. Successful continuation of development strategy of Great leader Heydar Aliyev by the President Ilham Aliyev has made Azerbaijan one of the powerful and mighty countries of the region. At the result, Azerbaijan is known as the center of progress and stability, peace and economic cooperation in a wide geopolitical arena. 
On April 28-29, the II National Accountants Forum was held at the Training Center of the Ministry of Taxes located in Shamakhi district. It was co-organized by Ministry of Taxes of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Chamber of Auditors of Azerbaijan Republic, the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations of Azerbaijan Republic, Public Unit of Studying Economic Resources, Association of Accountants and Risk Specialists of Azerbaijan, Economic Research and Training Center, Association of Professional Financial Managers and Young Accountants Union.
The head of the Department of Finance and Accounting of Sumgayit State University docent Loghman Abdullayev, senior lecturer Bakhtiyar Davudov, senior lecturer of the Department of Economics Saadat Humbataliyeva, master student of Department of Business Administration and Management Murad Gasimov participated in the Forum. The following persons delivered speech in plenary session of the Forum: chairman of the Organizing committee of the II National Accountants Forum Ruslan Atakishiyev, First Deputy of Minister of Taxes of Azerbaijan Republic Sahir Mammadkhanov, chairman of National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations of Azerbaijan Republic Mammad Musayev and head of Chamber of Auditors of Azerbaijan Republic Professor Vahid Novruzov.
Forum went on with different sections: current situation and problems in the field of accounting, tax legislation and accounting, the role of education and certification in the application of international standards of financial reports, accounting problems in commercial organizations, modern challenges in accounting software, etc.
