On June 11, the next training was held at Sumgayit State University on “Development of research skills” in the framework of PETRA. Vice-rector for Teaching Organization and Training Technologies, manager of PETRA project for SSU docent Natig Talibov, head of International Cooperation Office Samira Mammadova, office co-workers and PhD students attended the training.
Opening the event Natig Talibov gave information about work done in the framework of PETRA project, shared experience and knowledge gained in University of Jyväskylä in Finland and trainings to be held within the project. 
Trainer – head of finance and accounting department of economics and management faculty docent Loghman Abdullayev delivering a report on “Research opportunities” gave broad information about laws adopted in the field of research, initial stages in conduct of a research, arising problems and research methods. 
In the end, questions were answered and a discussion was held around the topic.
