On June 29, next training in the framework of PETRA was held at the University according to work plan 3.4. PhD students of SSU, head of International office Samira Mammadova and employees took part in the event. Samira Mammadova commenced the seminar with opening speech, informed about PETRA project and emphasized the significance of trainings which were held and going to be held in the frame of the project. She notified that, PhD students face some challenges while publishing the articles indicating the results of scientific researches in several prestigious journals. In this regard holding such seminars is of great importance.
Lecturer of the Department of History and its teaching methods docent Neyman Khasayev delivered presentation and gave wide information to PhD students about the rules of writing articles and conducting researches. He noted that conducting scientific researches that meet modern demand in globalized world and achieving substantial scientific results for humanity are the main missions standing in front of scientists and experts, as well as PhD students. Docent Neyman Khasayev gave wide information about the factors that make the structure and the topic of dissertation work actual, information provision, preparing analytical review, scientific-theoretical basis of problems, types and structure of articles, publishing of scientific results and their approbation, information culture of PhD students, scientific ethics and plagiarism problems.
The questions were responded and discussions were held around the topic.
