On October 2, the presentation ceremony of the portal www.enterpriseazerbaijan.com was held, instituted by Center for Economic Reforms Analysis and Communication according to Order of President Ilham Aliyev on additional measures related with supporting competitive internal production in non-oil sector.

Executive director of CERAC Vusal Gasimli commenced the event with welcome speech. He noted that the portal will be constantly updated. Along with being convenient to use, it is also an accessible, safe, fast, favorable space and includes a database of investment projects, start-ups, property assets, shares, land and other assets. He noted that EnterpriseAzerbaijan will support the advancement of entrepreneurship in the country over new business operation model. He invited native project authors, entrepreneurs and investors to cooperate closely with portal EnterpriseAzerbaijan.com.

President of Azerbaijan national Academy of Sciences Akif Alizade, deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection of People Matin Karimli, instituter of GoldenPay company Farid Ismayilzade, head of representation of European Union in Azerbaijan Kestutis Yankauskas, directors of Estonia Investment Agency Allan Selirand and Jaan Heinsoo delivered speeches.

A memorandum was signed in the event on cooperation between enterpriseazerbaijan.com portal of Center for Economic Reforms Analysis and Communication and “Enterprise Estonia” Foundation for support to development of entrepreneurship.

The videos were presented in the ceremony about the essence of the portal. The star of Azerbaijani football Gurban Gurbanov called the community to choose the right target about EnterpriseAzerbaijan portal. The representatives of international bodies and foreign business – president of Russian Association of Electron Money and Money Transforms Viktor Dostov, director of representation of Orient Swiss Company in Kazakhstan Sardor Muhamadaliyev, Department head of Bucharest University Emerita Mariana, executive director of Thailand Electronic Business Center Kultriak Pakavarkrilers, director on Eurasia of Economic Cooperation and Development Organization Bill Tomson, co-founder of Finding My Place company Ingrid Rosten- also took part in the event and spoke about the importance of the portal. It was notified that Enterpriseazerbaijan portal is a platform reflecting the information about the projects which is open to alternative financing and about new investment opportunities for raising the potential of attracting direct foreign investments to Azerbaijan, increasing investment attractiveness.

It worth be noted that representatives of state and private community, as well as foreign countries took part in presentation ceremony.
