On October 15, Russian political scientist and lawyer, member of lectors group of Knowledge Foundation under President of Azerbaijan Republic Oleg Kuznetsov delivered lecture on “Ideological connection between Armenian nationalism and German Nazism” at Sumgayit State University.

Professor-teaching and student staff of the university, also vice-rector on Science and Innovations professor Ramazan Mammadov, vice-rector on Humanitarian Issues docent Ramiz Huseynov and personnel of Knowledge Foundation took part in the event, which was co-organized by Knowledge Foundation and Executive Power of Sumgayit city.

Professor Ramazan Mammadov and docent Ramiz Huseynov greeted the guests and spoke about the history of Azerbaijani-Russian friendship and present scientific, economic, political and cultural cooperation. They emphasized the significance of spreading the truth to the world about crimes of Armenian terrorists committed against our nation, as well as expressed their gratitude to Oleg Kuznetsov for dissemination of information on Armenian terrors to world community. They notified that the activity of Russian scholar is the sample of friendship of two nations.

Russian scientist-historian Oleg Kuznetsov expressed his satisfaction on visiting Sumgayit State University again and noted that the purpose of holding such meetings regularly is to display the content of expansionist policy of Armenian vandalism to young people. He widely spoke about tragedies committed by Armenians and genocide against Azerbaijani people and noted that he had gained extensive facts about history and essence of Armenian terror while researching terror acts carried out in Azerbaijan in 1988-1994. Oleg Kuznetsov noted that archive materials of Azerbaijan State Security Service revealed the documents about existence of Nazism ideology in Armenia at soviet state security bodies: “Armenian nationalism and its “Dashnaksutun” party were accepted as an ideological enemy by USSR state security organs till 1930s. Dashnaks were kept under control in those years, more active members were even exiled.” The historian emphasized that there are materials about Armenian nationalists that they served to third Reich of Germany. He said: “One of them was agent of General Security Office of Nazi Germany, who was originally from Shamakhi, Peter Kamsarakyan. He was important as an information source for soviet special services, therefore minister of internal affairs of USSR, general-colonel Kruglov directly controlled his work.”

At the end of his speech, political analyst Oleg Kuznetsov expressed his gratitude to university administration for the meeting, which was held for disclosing atrocity of Armenian invaders against humanity.

After the lecture, the debate was carried out.
