OUR STUDENTS WERE THE WINNER OF “KHAMSA CUP”
On November 21, the contest entitled “III Khamsa Cup” of Sumgayit students was held in the Heydar Aliyev Center, dedicated to “November 22 – Day of City” with the organization of Youth and Sports Head Office.
14 teams consisting of students participated in the competition held by management of judges of Sumgayit Intellectual Club under Head Office. 6 persons in each team, in general 84 students joined to the competition.
Knowledge contest launched with sounding State anthem of Azerbaijan.
Section head of work with youth of Youth and Sports Head Office Jeyhun Huseynov hailed the participants and spoke about state youth policy founded by National leader Heydar Aliyev, as well as care and attention to young generation. He notified that favorable circumstances have been created in Sumgayit for improvement of skills of youth.
“Safavi-1” team of Sumgayit State University was awarded I place in the competition. The team of Sumgayit city section of Red Crescent Society was awarded II place, “Mubariz” team of Sumgayit “ASAN service” Center III place.
The winner teams were awarded with the cup, honorary diploma, medal and presents.
