As a result of the successful development strategy implemented by president Ilham Aliyev, the country's economy ranks among the highest in the world in terms of its development speed. Ilham Aliyev's knowledge in all fields played an important role in the comprehensive progress of our country. Today, Azerbaijan is known all over the world precisely as a result of Ilham Aliyev's successful foreign policy. Effective use of the potential of young people is one of the fundamental factors that ensure the intensive development of modern, independent Azerbaijan. President Ilham Aliyev's measures aimed at the realization of the potential of young people, their upbringing as patriotic and educated personnel, and the social security of young families are evaluated as an indicator of the far-sighted policy of the state. The regularly improved youth policy has created conditions for increasing the role of the young generation in social and political life, becoming the leading force of the country, and forming creative youth as a whole.

Today, young people with a high intellectual level, a sense of patriotism, and national thinking are being formed in Azerbaijan. Day by day, the youth of Azerbaijan play a greater role in the social and political life of the country. As a result of the state's support and attention to the youth, the sense of confidence in themselves has increased in the youth of Azerbaijan. As we know, "Memorandum of Understanding on the establishment of Turkey-Azerbaijan University between the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Council of Higher Education of the Republic of Turkey" was signed on February 19 in Ankara with the participation of President Ilham Aliyev and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan at the signing ceremony of Azerbaijan-Turkey documents. In his speech to the press, President Ilham Aliyev said that an important agreement on education was signed today:

"This is a forward-looking initiative. Because our young generation, both in Turkey and Azerbaijan, should be educated based on the principles of brotherhood, alliance, shared values, should be loyal to our national and moral values, should be away from foreign influence, should be knowledgeable, educated and patriotic people. Today, the establishment of Turkey-Azerbaijan University is not just an educational issue. This is another symbol of our unity. I am sure that in the near future this university will become one of the leading universities not only in Azerbaijan, but also in the region."

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said in his speech that he is also satisfied with the development of our relations in the field of education.

"In this context, the Memorandum of Understanding on the establishment of Turkey-Azerbaijan University will be a new turning point in terms of cooperation in the field of higher education. Our university will raise our relations in the fields of science and technology to a new level. In this direction, our exchange of experience in the fields of engineering and technology, especially healthcare, will increase."

Of course, all this is the result of the care given to the education of young people. The establishment of this university has a great and special significance. It is an important step towards further strengthening and deepening of relations between the two countries. It is not only a cooperation in the field of education, but also a means of expanding cultural, social and economic relations between the two brotherly countries. Such initiatives, which strengthen the concept of "one nation, two states" between Turkey and Azerbaijan, aim to preserve and pass on the common culture, history and values of both countries to future generations.
