"Today, our country is one of the most influential countries in the world for its economic development, social welfare and other achievements. The human factor underlies the policy of the Azerbaijani state. The steps taken under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev during the coronavirus pandemic have once again confirmed this. On April 10, 2020, at the initiative of the President of Azerbaijan, a meeting of the Turkic Council at the level of heads of state and government was organized, and on May 4, the Non-Aligned Movement Contact Group held an online summit dedicated to the COVID-19 pandemic. During his speech at the meeting, the countries of the world unanimously agreed to the proposal of the UN General Assembly to hold a special session by video conference at the level of heads of state and government to combat the pandemic as an example of global solidarity. Armenia was the only country to oppose this initiative. The achievement of holding a special session of the UN General Assembly on COVID-19 once again showed that our independent Azerbaijan and our statehood are strengthening. Internal socio-political stability and solidarity are strengthening in Azerbaijan, socio-economic spheres are developing, and the country"s prestige in the international arena is growing significantly. As a result of all this, our country is gaining new successes. Of course, these achievements are achieved as a result of our people, our state continuing the path of Heydar Aliyev with great confidence. "

 

 

R.Huseynov noted that the greatest happiness of every nation is directly related to its independence and freedom: "During his presidency, President Ilham Aliyev remained faithful to the motto" I will be the President of every Azerbaijani, "which he said in 2003.
