ANNOUNCEMET OF US EMBASSY IN AZERBAIJAN
Sumgayit State University announces the registration for the "English for Academic Purposes" training organized by the Embassy of the United States of America in Azerbaijan.
Thus, at the initiative of the Department of International Cooperation and International Students of SSU, the US Embassy in Azerbaijan will launch three-month trainings to develop the use of English language skills of the university's teaching staff at the academic level.
The main purpose of the training, which is scheduled for September 15, 2021 to December 15, 2021, is to bring the English language skills of the university's teaching staff and other categories of education to the academic level, as well as to create an English-speaking network at the university to achieve the development of the potential of international relations.
The trainers of the English for Academic Purposes and Academic Writing in English courses will be native speakers provided by the US Embassy in Azerbaijan. Participants are required to attend and complete assignments.
Successful participants will receive certificates at the end of the training.
The training, which will last for 3 months, can be attended by staff with intermediate English language skills.
