World Association of Technopolises (South Korea), Head of the Department of Technical Cybernetics of Ufa State Aviation Technical University prof. Gvozdyev V.E., the head of the Informatics department of that university, prof. Verkhoturov M.A., Dean of the Faculty of Robotics and Informatics prof. Yusupova N.I., Assoc. Bogdanova D.R., Popova O.I., head of the Department of Machine Technologies of Voronezh State Technical University, Saint Petersburg State University of Economics, Professor Italo Trevisan of the University of Trento, Nikola Nikolov, Head of the Department of Automation and Management, Varna Technical University and established cooperative relations with their departments. There are cooperation agreements with these universities.
Scientific achievements:
In 2018, 2 projects won the "Integration of Science and Education" grant competition of the Science Development Fund.
In the last 5 years, the staff of the department published 9 (web of science), 12 (Scopus), 11 (RINS) 3 monographs in internationally indexed (web of science, Scopus, Springer and RINS) journals; 2 patent articles have been published.
In 2018, the staff of the department prof. J.F. Mammadov won grants from the Science Development Fund under the President of Azerbaijan.
Since 2012, the head of the department, prof. Mammadov J.F. and his colleagues (Assoc. Abdullayev Gurban, Assoc. Garamammadov Huseyn, Senior Lecturer Bagirov Ziyafat, Prof. Nagiyev Ali, Senior Lecturer Ganjaliyeva Gulnara) guide students of schools scientifically in the Sumgait Scientists of Sabah competition organized by the USA ISEF international science and engineering forum. Since 2012, Under prof. J.F. Mammadov's leadership, 15 gold, more than 35 silver, 63 bronze medals, grants, diplomas and medals of prestigious international associations and companies were obtained at ISEF's "Scientists of Tomorrow" competition. In 2012, prof. J.F.Mammadov took part in the ISEF Intel competition in Pittsburgh, USA, and in 2014 Los Angeles, USA with the project prepared under the leadership of him. In 2021 and 2023, our students participated in US ISEF competitions.
Assistant Professor of Automation and Mechanics Department, U.Kh. Agayev, was trained in German higher education institutions within the TEMPUS project of the Council of Europe and was awarded special certificates. Head of the department prof. J.F.Mammadov participated in ERASMUS+, PETRA, ERASMUS+EQAC projects with the support of the Council of Europe, and trained at universities in Austria and Spain. In 2019, he completed a professional development course on the commercialization of scientific research results at Saint Petersburg State University of Economics and was awarded a certificate.
