Higher education is the first step of any person to a career. At present, getting a quality higher education is very important, as science and education are developing rapidly. The integration of Azerbaijan into the world community also determines the integration of education in the global and European educational space. This allows Azerbaijani youth to receive education both at home and in international universities. State youth policy, is now successfully developing under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev. A lot of work is being done in this direction and a certain result has already been achieved. The state program "Azerbaijani youth in 2017-2021" creates the conditions for the active participation of youth in all spheres of society.

Sumgayit State University, throughout its work, constantly contributes to education and provides training for specialists and qualified personnel for the country. This is evidence that the university is using all available opportunities, strengthening its human resources.
