SSU HELD REPORTING AND ELECTION CONFERENCE OF SSS
On December 25, a reporting and election conference of the Student Scientific Society (SSS) was held at Sumgayit State University.
The vice-rector for Science and Innovations, Professor Ramazan Mammadov spoke at the conference. He conveyed greetings to the conference participants on behalf of the administration and wished them success in their work.
Vice-rector noted that students who are members of the SSS are united by common interests. Ramadan Mammadov spoke about the ongoing educational reforms in the country and the multifaceted activities aimed at improving the level of education at the university.
Professor Ramazan Mammadov emphasized that Sumgayit State University has created great opportunities to increase students' interest in scientific work and encouraged students to be active in this direction.
Scientific supervisor of SSS Lala Bunyatova informed students about the structure of the conference, success of students, the significance of SSS.
Chief of the Council of SSS Sevda Aliyeva made a report on the work done by the Student Scientific Society for the 2018-2019 academic year in the university and its faculties.
The chairpersons of the councils of SSS on faculties reported on their work in the faculties, and spoke about gained achievements. They also noted that SSS contributes to the increase of scientific knowledge and intelligence of students.
After the reports, election of members of the SSS Council took place. Sevda Aliyev was again elected chief of the SSS Council.
