The experience of developed countries shows that sustainable economic development, improving the welfare and quality of life of the population is impossible without a change in the use of the human factor in science and education, the application of high technology and innovation. Because the rapid development of science and knowledge is the basis for the radical reconstruction of society in modern times, and it is based on the revolutionary leaps in labor productivity. Most universities in the world, as well as in European countries, focus on practical knowledge rather than theoretical knowledge. All this stimulates the higher education system of advanced countries to meet the requirements of the rapidly changing international economic market. For this reason, prestigious universities send their students for internships in well-known companies, trying to establish close ties with these companies by cooperating in research projects. All this creates favorable opportunities for students to gain work experience. Sumgayit State University, in turn, sends students to foreign universities and industrial enterprises for internships in order to benefit from world scientific practice. Our students get acquainted with scientific innovations in the world by practicing their theoretical knowledge in these institutions.

It should be noted that Sumgayit State University has been the co-chair of the Association of Azerbaijan-Russia Universities since 2015. Currently, it is taking important successful steps towards teacher-student mobility with many universities. Teachers, scientists and students of Sumgayit State University repeatedly participate in international scientific conferences, Association meetings and student forums. At the same time, the results of research work are published in the journal "Scientific News". For this purpose, Gadir Aziziov and Asim Harunov, students of group 590 of the Faculty of Physics and Electrical Engineering, who underwent internships at Kazan State Power Engineering University, attended the XV traditional International Youth Conference "Tinchurinsk Readings - 2020: Energy and Digital Information" on April 28-29. The pandemic conference was held online on the ZOOM platform. Our students made a report on "The use of reclamation energy to reduce the energy consumption of electric drives for passenger elevators", and recently their report was awarded the third place by the decision of the organizing committee of the conference.
