SSU STUDENTS TOOK PART IN A WEBINAR WITHIN THE CREATIVE SPARK PROJECT
On January 7, the next webinar of the Creative Spark project on “Developing Entrepreneurial Skills” was organized by Middlesex University of the United Kingdom and Khazar University. The webinar was moderated by Raziya Isayeva from Khazar University, and the speaker was Zara Huseynova, a young entrepreneur and head of the Wowoman social project. During her speech, Ms. Zara spoke about the purpose of the platform she created, its benefits for women. She noted that there is a certain value and social benefit in the background of each activity, and in this regard, one of the main motives in building its platform is the creation of freedom of choice for women.
It was emphasized at the webinar that in order to achieve their goals, women should be taught the necessary knowledge and skills, motivated, and supported on important issues such as personal development. Noting that there are different approaches to social entrepreneurship, Zara believes that the social initiative should be based on a business model that can ensure the sustainability of this initiative. In this case, social impact remains a priority against the background of profits and the commercial side, which is important for business development.and the challenges and successes of her first business since she was a student.
The main purpose of the webinar was to motivate students to develop as leaders in the future, to develop entrepreneurship in our country, to help and support their professional development.
The webinar was attended by Natavan Guliyeva, an employee of the Department of International Cooperation and Foreign Students of Sumgayit State University, Tayfun Hajili, Chairman of SYO from the Faculty of Engineering, Ayshan Huseynova, Shahana Hatamova, Janna Aliyeva and Aydin Sadigov, students of the Faculty of History and Geography.
