SSU EMPLOYEES TOOK PART IN THE NEXT BRITISH COUNCIL WEBINAR
The next online seminar of the British Council in Azerbaijan was held on 24 February. Webinar "How to create an interesting and easy learning environment for students during a pandemic?" was devoted to this topic.
Experts from the European Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education made a presentation at the webinar.
Pierce Wall, Quality Assurance Agency expert, spoke about the "Journey to Higher Education" and noted that the student journey to tertiary institutions consists of 4 main stages: 1. Formation of self-confidence, motivation stage in a student admitted to higher education; 2. Approval and preparation for reading; 3. The stage of limiting travel opportunities; 4. The stage of graduating from higher education and getting a job.
The webinar provided detailed information on the student's ability to work abroad, self-development, the factors that affect him, building his own future, the impact of the student on other students.
Then, Dr. Dawn Less from the University of Exeter (England) spoke about the impact of the work done to develop cooperation between universities on students, the role of staff in this direction and the proper organization of future work.
Kate Croucher, Partnership Manager, University of England, spoke on “Global Leadership and Recruitment of Talented Alumni”. She noted that a person who has graduated from higher education is hired, the job is taught to him accurately, this person builds a career and his place becomes a vacancy. Thus, investment activity is carried out on people. Investment activity is the sum of all actions of investors related to investment and its implementation.
Employees of Sumgayit State University - Samira Rzayeva, Head of the Cabinet of the Faculty of Philology, Khayala Mursaliyeva, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Azerbaijani Language and its Teaching Methods, Specialist of ITC Anar Dunyamaliyev took part in the webinar.
