Dear students and staff of SSU,

I sincerely congratulate you on the occasion of "Novruz holiday", which brings innovation to the world, awakening to the land, good mood to people!

The history of a nation is measured by its traditions, culture and antiquity.

Novruz holiday has a special place in the centuries-old treasury of cultural heritage of the Azerbaijani people.

Novruz holiday, which is the carrier of our history and culture, also expresses the revival, purity, and kindness in public life.

It is the duty of each of us to pass on such a high-value holiday to future generations.

Novruz holiday was included in the list of intangible cultural heritage by UNESCO in 2009, and in 2010 at the 64th session of the UN General Assembly, March 21 was declared "International Novruz Day". Novruz holiday is a combination of humanistic, progressive values and millennial traditions of the Azerbaijani people. Novruz is based on the strong connection between man and nature. The change of seasons has a great philosophical significance in people's thinking and has manifested itself in various rituals. 4 Tuesdays (Charshanba) - Water, Fire, Wind, Earth marks the order of the universe, and in this sense, a new day, a new beginning is the main indicator that determines Novruz. The humanistic values instilled by Novruz, which calls people to unity, equality, sharing, purity and activity, are important challenges that modern humanity needs. Symbolically, this year Novruz is accompanied by great changes for our people and the Azerbaijani state. We have experienced a great and incredible miracle thanks to the military management of our Supreme Commander-in-Chief, which is well-directed with mathematical accuracy. We met our beautiful Shusha, which is our eye bead and crown. This historic event is a new day, a new beginning for the whole Turkic world. Our people fought to liberate their homeland from the enemy. Many of our heroic warriors and zealous sons were martyred in these battles defending our land and homeland. During these holidays, I remember our martyred children and bow before their souls. I believe that the memory of the martyrs will always live in our hearts. The motherland will never forget this sacrifice!

Novruz holiday, which we have been celebrating since ancient times, is a state holiday of the Republic of Azerbaijan. However, this year we do not celebrate Novruz in traditional conditions. However, no circumstances can prevent our people from adhering to the national customs and traditions. From the malt we germinate in our homes to the preparation of symbolic cosmic objects - şəkərbura, paklava, göğal, each of us is ready to celebrate our favorite holiday with great love and enthusiasm as usual. Happy Spring Holiday, which gives life in its breath, vitality in its roots, and nativeness in its feelings! On the eve of this holy holiday, I wish each of you, your family members and loved ones good health, prosperity, happiness, spring mood, prosperity and pleasant innovations in your personal life!

Let the "Novruz holiday" bring happiness to every family, happiness to every citizen of Azerbaijan, progress and development to our homeland!
