On March 10, 11 At Istanbul Gelisim  University (IGU) was held  the International Conference on Applied Social Sciences (USBK 2022).

The conference was attended by a group of professors and lecturers of the faculty of Economics and Management of Sumgayit State University.

It should be noted that the associate professor of the department of economics of the faculty of economics and management, i.f.d. Lala Valiyeva was appointed a member of the Organizing Committee and Science Councils of the conference. Associate professor of  the deparment of economics of SSU  i.f.d. Lala Valiyeva and associate professor of  the department of World economy and Marketing i.f.d. Shafiqa Mammadova was invited to attend the conference by  Istanbul Gelisim University . In the section meetings of the conference  assoc. Lala Valiyeva "Social policy in  economic security strategy" and assoc. Shafiqa Mammadova made a report on "The impact of natural resources on economic development."

At the International Conference on Applied Social Sciences  other employees of SSU participated in the online format - prof.
