Novruz is one of the holidays that has a special place and national significance in the centuries-old history of the Azerbaijani people. Celebrated for thousands of years  Novruz symbolizes the awakening of  soil , the renewal of nature and the renaissance of mankind. Preserving the most ancient ideas, this holiday is an expression of deep respect for the unshakable unity of nature and man. We will meet Novruz in our native Karabakh, burn the pain of the years in bonfires and make our dreams come true like samani. Because  its arrival is the end of 30 years of longing for Karabakh,   accepting our prayers for years  is a gift of the victory. Our  glorious victory, which demonstrates  us to the world as a proud nation has brought eternal spring to Azerbaijan. It is a source of pride for each of us that this holiday  which embodies the highest human values, has been  included in the list of masterpieces of universal heritage by UNESCO.

According to the order signed by the rector of Sumgayit State University, professor Elkhan Huseynov  in order to improve the social well-being  of the  employees, financial aid  is provided to all employees of the university every year on the eve of the New Year, Novruz, Ramadan and Eid . This is also met with great sympathy by the staff.

This year, the rector congratulated all employees of the university on the upcoming spring holiday Novruz and wished happiness to every family, well-being and peace  every home and made them happy  with a money prize as a holiday gift.
