He said that after our historic victory over the enemy, the head of state repeatedly visited the liberated territories and demonstrated the Armenian savagery to the world. restoring historical justice with the glorious Victory, Azerbaijan is rapidly restoring the territories that have been under Armenian occupation and completely destroyed for almost 30 years. Traces of Armenian atrocities are slowly being erased from these areas. Rapid construction works were underway in our territories, which were destroyed by the enemy during the occupation. New road and transport infrastructure is being created, power lines are being laid, new substations are being built. Foreign companies are also closely involved in the large-scale process. The restoration of Karabakh is of special importance for the region as a whole. Thus, "smart" technologies are applied in the implementation of restoration work, the concepts of "smart city" and "smart village" are implemented. The President has set the task of creating a "green energy zone" in the territories liberated from occupation. After the glorious victory, life is restored in Karabakh. Our lands which were destroyed by the enemy, are being revived.
Vice-rector Gafar Atayev also noted that Azerbaijan is one of the richest countries in the Caucasus region in terms of biodiversity, with its diversity and characteristic global biodiversity. Today, a new breath, a new life is returning to our liberated territories. The united state of Azerbaijan is developing with confidence and the restoration work is being carried out successfully.
Director of the Institute of Microbiology of ANAS, corresponding member of ANAS Panah Muradov "Prospects for the use of edible species of xylotrophic macromycetes as producers of biologically active substances", Director of the Institute of Physiology of ANAS named after AIGarayev, professor Ulduz Hashimova "Gerontological research in Azerbaijan : current situation and prospects of development ”, head of the department of Biology and its teaching methods of SSU, associate professor Arzu Bakhshaliyev made a report on“ Biodiversity of the liberated territories and prospects for conducting biological research ”. They noted that the liberated regions of Nakhchivan, East Zangazur and Karabakh are rich in plant and animal diversity. Over the past 30 years, the occupation of these territories by Armenia has seriously damaged not only the Azerbaijanis, but also the nature and biodiversity of these territories. As a result of environmental terror committed by Armenian predators, the biodiversity of the liberated territories have been deliberately and illegally destroyed and natural resources have been brutally exploited. At present, important steps are being taken at the state level to assess and restore the condition of the liberated territories, including our natural resources.
Arzu Bakhshaliyev executive secretary, head of the department of Biology and its teaching methods of SSU, informed about the further work of the conference. He said that 74 articles and theses were included in the conference.
