The knowledge competition "Intellects of the faculty" was held at the faculty of Chemistry and biology
On May 23, a knowledge competition "Intellects of the faculty" dedicated to the 60th anniversary of Sumgayit State University was held by the faculty of Chemistry and biology with the joint support of the Student Trade Union Committee and the Student Youth Organization.
Deputy dean of the faculty Sabir Alakbarov opened the knowledge competition and spoke about the importance of the competition. He noted that the purpose of this knowledge competition is the development of the intellectual movement, which is one of the important directions of youth policy in Azerbaijan, the effective organization of leisure time of youth, strengthening the intellectual potential of higher education. This competition will be important in increasing the competitiveness of students, getting to know the active students of the faculty, guiding them in various competitions and representing the university and faculty.
The competition, which consisted of two stages was held in different formats. In the first stage, test questions were answered in writing format with the participation of 20 volunteer students and 16 questions were voiced orally. In the second round, the first 8 students selected from the previous round took part in the competition. Winners were determined among them.
At the end, 5 students who participated in the competition within the "Intellects of the faculty" project were awarded diplomas and certificates.
