An event on "Further expansion of the leading role of ICT in the organization of training in higher education" was organized by the faculty of Physics and Power Engineering of Sumgayit State University on May 24.
Opening the event, the dean of the faculty Tamella Ahmadova noted the importance of the event and the development of ICT infrastructure in the education system in recent years and bringing the application of ICT in education to world standards is one of the priorities in our country. She noted that the event consists of two parts: Part 1 will be dedicated to modern ICT equipment, Part 2 will be dedicated to the application of voltage and power management and control over SCADA.
Then, Aygun Tagiyeva senior lecturer of the department of Informatics, presented a video on "Modern ICT equipment" and a modern device (the working principle of the most popular and latest model book scanner Elar Scan A2-400, 3D printer that converts 3D computer data into real objects, Vector graphics Image-producing machines - Plotters, one of the modern ICTs (laser keyboard, Digitizer, Optical Mark)which brings a virtual keyboard with a laser or beam to a level surface.
Tural Hajibalayev SOCAR's electrical engineer presented a video on "Application of voltage and power management and control over SCADA" and provided detailed information. . In recent years, the Republic of Azerbaijan has built and commissioned modern substations of various capacities and restored “circular lines” to generate uninterrupted power in many regions.
At the end, the speakers answered the questions of students and undergraduates.
The event was attended by the head of the department of electrical engineering associate professor Nadir Hajibalayev, senior lecturer of the department Samira Jabbarova, assistant of the department of electromechanics Kamala Agakhanova, student of group 520 Nariman Mammadov and other students.
