A group of delegations from Kazan State Energy University came to SSU
On June 2, a group of delegations from Kazan State Energy University came to Sumgayit State University.
Rector of Sumgayit State University, Co-Chair of the Russian-Azerbaijani University Association professor Elkhan Huseynov received a delegation led by Irina Ahmadova, vice-rector for Development and Innovation of Kazan State Energy University and Samir Abdurashitov, Engineer of the Center for Technology and Energy Saving. The rector met with them at a round table and spoke about issues of mutual interest, noting that the meeting will promote successful cooperation between students,the staff of professors and both universities .
The rector spoke about the successes achieved in these areas, emphasized the importance of the documents signed by President Ilham Aliyev in the field of science and education,.
The rector also briefed the guests on the activities of the university, its international relations, education, teaching process and achievements, spoke about the friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Russia and said that cooperation with the Kazan State Energy University in the fields of education and research continues successfully, along with many universities in the Russian Federation.
Then, the vice-rector for Science and Innovations of SSU professor Ramazan Mammadov expressed satisfaction with seeing the guests at our university and gave detailed information about the university and noted that SSU is on the eve of celebrating its 60th anniversary will make an invaluable contribution to the successful development of education.
Dean of the faculty of Physics and Electrical Engineering, associate professor Tamella Ahmadova spoke about the cooperation of the faculty with the Kazan State Energy University and joint projects.
Irina Ahmadova vice-rector for Development and Innovations of Kazan State Energy University conveyed the greetings of the rector of the university they represented E.Y. Abdullazyanov and expressed satisfaction with the cooperation between the universities and interest in expanding relations between the two universities and exchanging experience.
The sides exchanged views on the development of cooperation between the two universities, student-teacher exchange and joint research.
The guests visited the Heydar Aliyev Center at the university, as well as various auditoriums and laboratories, the university"s second educational building and the open-air training museum on electric power and a high-voltage substation.
Then the guests went on trips to Sumgayit. The guests, who got acquainted with our city, thanked the university administration for the attention.
