In the Strategic Development Plan for 2020-2025 approved by the Scientific Council of SSU  a number of events  are being successfully continued in the direction of the implementation of the relevant work provided for the establishment of the "Innovation and Creativity Center" at the university.

In April of the current year, a group of employees of the university was sent to the Republic of Turkey and within the framework of the mission program, they visited Technopark Istanbul, Information Valley, ITU ARI Technokent, Bursa Uludag University and Bursa Technical University Technoparks,  gained  the  experience for creating a modern innovative technopark in universities and organizing its efficient operation. As a result of the experience, it was determined that the efficient operation of the technological parks is possible as a result of mutual cooperation with the existing production enterprises in that region.

Taking into account  this experience, in order to achieve the goals that meet the common interests of our country in the field of innovative development, on July 6, 2022  consulting meeting was held among  the members of the Working group of "Innovation and Creativity Center" of  SSU - the vice-rector for Science and Innovations of the university professor Ramazan Mammadov , vice-rector for Economic  affairs  Naib Hajiyev and the head of the scientific department Samir Orujov, responsible employees of  the National Education Ministry of the Republic of Turkey and STRIT, international mentors for startup creation doc. Deniz Vurushkan and  doc. Hakan Ozkaynak on the "Zoom platform". During the event, the  creation of the IYM at SSU and the operation plan of this center were discussed, extensive presentations were held. It  is planned to conclude contracts with relevant specialists at the next stage and to establish bilateral effective business with them soon.

As a result of the meeting, it was concluded that it is important to invite Turkish experts to SSU for the purpose of conducting a number of studies and relevant trainings dedicated to the creation and organization of the "Innovation and Creativity Center".
