A mini-football championship was held among higher education institutions dedicated to the 60th anniversary of SSU
With the support of the Ministry of Science and Education, the Republican Committee of the Free Trade Union of Azerbaijan Educators, AFFA, the Public Union of Azerbaijan Student Football Federation and "Azfar Group" CJSC, a mini-football championship was held among students of higher educational institutions dedicated to the 60th anniversary of Sumgayit State University. Mini-football team of Sumgayit State University also participated in the championship among 16 teams.
In the first stage of the competition, the teams were divided into 8 subgroups and competed.
It should be noted that the main goal of the championship is to promote the sport of mini-football among students of higher education institutions, to identify athletes and to create conditions for their involvement in teams consisting of masters.
