Our employees met with the delegation of Brandenburg Technical University
From December 8 to 11, a delegation led by the president of Germany's Brandenburg University of Technology, professor Gesin Grande visited Azerbaijan.
We should note that on December 8, the Minister of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan Emin Amrullayev received the delegation of BTU. The minister expressed his satisfaction with the current state of cooperation between Azerbaijan Technical University and Brandenburg Technical University, and emphasized the importance of the agreements on dual diploma programs at the master's and doctoral levels signed between both higher education institutions. The president of Brandenburg Technical University, in his turn, said that they are interested in establishing cooperative relations with higher education institutions of the Republic of Azerbaijan. On December 10, a meeting was held with professor Silvia Simon and Yuliya Morozova, assistant of the department and other participants such as: vice-rector of SSU for International relations associate professor Gafar Atayev, associate professor Turgay Huseynov, head of the department of Electromechanics, head of the Quality assurance department Narmin Hasanova and head of the department of International cooperation and foreign students Sadagat Fatullayeva, head of the department of Metalworking machine tools of BTU.
The meeting was attended by vice rector of ATU for Science and innovations, doctor of technical sciences,professor Subhan Namazov, vice rector for International relations associate professor Fariz Mammadov, head of the teaching department associate professor Arastun Mammadov and professor of the department of Special Techniques and Technologies Fariz Amirov . During the meeting, discussions were held on the development prospects of cooperation between SSU and BTU in the field of electrical engineering, the joint events program, and especially the current opportunities for international student mobility. Currently, with the financial support of the "German Academic Exchange Service" (GAAS), 15 students of SSU from various specializations and educational levels have applied for the exchange program "Getting to know German culture, education and life".
