This social scourge, which has already afflicted almost the entire world like the "white death", causes the death of many people every year, and families are faced with tragedy. The Azerbaijan government takes measures to prevent the spread of drug addiction, which has become a universal problem, and works together with the countries of the world and international organizations in the fight against it. It is not so easy to fight this trouble. Drug addiction usually starts in youth and in many cases results in the death of the drug addict at a young age. In order to fight against drug addiction, the opportunities of the civil society should be used, information should be given about the negative consequences of such harmful habits among young people, that it is a threat to our life and health and that it is against our morality and religion.
