EMPLOYEES OF SSU VISITED POLAND
On the recommendation of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, in order to cooperate with 11 Polish universities in the world ranking in the direction of internationalization and benefit from their experience, on June 22-29, vice-rector for International relations of Sumgayit State University Gafar Atayev and head of the department of International cooperation and foreign students Sadagat Fatullayeva visited Poland.They were sent to Lodz University of Technology and Pavislanski University.
It should be noted that these higher education institutions are among the 13 Polish universities included in the 1000 best universities in the world, distinguished by academic reputation, graduate profile, research potential, innovation, scientific efficiency, teaching conditions and internationalization criteria.
During the meeting, associate professor Gafar Atayev made a wide presentation reflecting the rich educational opportunities, material and technical base and international relations of SSU. Later, the promotional video of the university was shown.
Within the framework of the visit, our employees also participated in a practical seminar organized in the direction of writing "Erasmus+K2 Capacity Building" (Bringing new knowledge and skills in education) projects at Lodz University of Technology. During the seminar, Sadagat Fatullayeva"s presentation entitled "SSU"s experience in European Union projects" was brought to the attention of the audience. The seminar then continued with a wide-ranging discussion and question-and-answer session about the Erasmus+ projects coordinated by Lodz University of Technology in recent years.
In addition, a partnership agreement was signed between both universities and SSU in the direction of "Erasmus-K1-International academic exchange" financed by the European Union. Based on the agreement, it is planned to exchange SSU students to Polish universities in the 2023/2027 Erasmus+ calls.
After exchanging views on the possibilities of mutual cooperation, the parties presented to each other the brand book and attributes of the universities, as well as souvenirs reflecting our national culture.
