ASIIN COMPLETED THE ACCREDITATION PROCESS AT SSU
October 12 was the last day of international accreditation at SSU, the ASIIN expert group completed its work.
In the first half of the day, a wide-ranging meeting was held with the academic staff of 3 educational programs of the faculty of Engineering of SSU.
At the meeting, discussions were held on the development of teachers, organization of exams, lesson load, work done in the field of scientific research, mobility, quality culture.
After that, the ASIN expert group held its internal meetings.
In the second half of the day, the expert group from the Federal Republic of Germany met with the rector of SSU Rufat Azizov.
At the meeting, associate professor Natig Talibov, vice-rector for Teaching Organization and Training Technologies, associate professor Ulduz Aghayev,dean of the faculty of Engineering, professor Javanshir Mammadov, head of the department of Automation and management, professor Agil Huseynov, head of the department of Information technologies and programming, associate professor Gadir Mansurov, head of the department of Electronics and computer engineering, head of Quality Assurance department Narmin Hasanova participated.
Chairman of the ASIN expert group, professor of Chemnitz University , Madhukar Chandra and members of the expert group led by him - professor of Hamburg University of Applied Sciences Wolfgang Renz, Dr. Alfred Schulte from Bosch company , ADA University student Ilhama Novruzova and project coordinator Paulina Petrachenko expressed their deep gratitude to SSU rector Rufat Azizov for the hospitality, warm attitude and special care shown to them.
The expert group noted that preparation of SSU for the international accreditation process is highly appreciated.
The university management is sure that the report prepared by the expert group will reveal the shortcomings in the organization of education and will play an important role for the future activities of the university.
