Greeting the participants of the info session held in the Great Assembly Hall of Sumgayit State University on October 16, rector of SSU Rufat Azizov first spoke about the event that will remain forever in the history of our nation and state: "President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev raised our national flag in Eastern Zangezur  after more than 30 years, in our regions occupied by the Armenian Armed Forces. Thus, the process of actual and legal restoration of our territorial integrity has ended. The painful and long road we have passed is the result of the will of our people, the blood of our martyrs, the health and foundation of our veterans, and the determination of the line of statehood laid by our National Leader Heydar Aliyev continued  by the Honorable President Ilham Aliyev.

Later, speaking about the implementation of innovative projects and events at the university, and the support of students" technical and creative activities in the projects, Rufat Azizov reminded that the "SABAH.HUB" Innovation Center, established under the Institute of Education with the support of the Ministry of Science and Education, contributes to the country"s innovation ecosystem by implementing acceleration programs in Azerbaijan: " I am glad that Sumgayit State University is among the 10 higher education institutions with which the Innovation Center cooperates. The main goal of the platform is to help today"s students, who will become future specialists in various fields, to create their own business.

"SABAH.HUB" Chairman of the Management Board Rahim Bayramli noted his satisfaction that SSU is among the cooperating universities and spoke about the prospective goals: "Our goal is to direct the students in the courses of "Sabah Academy" to start-up projects in the conditions of a shortage of jobs." Calling students to innovative approaches, Rahim Bayramli talked about the positivity of the social view that would be created if even 5 percent of young people succeed.

The information session was held by Orkhan Abbasov, the director of Startup Development at "SABAH.HUB" and Amina Malikova, the project manager of "SABAH.academy" in the conditions of student interactivity. It was emphasized that "SABAH.HUB" is an innovation center aimed at the growth and development of the startup ecosystem. "SABAH.HUB" Innovation Center consists of 3 different platforms: "SABAH.academy", "SABAH.incubation" and "SABAH.lab". SABAH.academy – as an educational platform, makes complex knowledge about entrepreneurship accessible to everyone by simplifying it. Within the 4-month period, the program appeals to different audiences, from first-year university students to startups and corporations. SABAH.incubation is a platform that not only supports startup teams and individuals with ideas in developing their ideas, but also projects them and makes them ready for acceleration: "SABAH.lab - 5-month acceleration program, funding for startups that already have their minimum viable product (MVP), develops and prepares for investment by providing mentoring and coaching support.

At the end of the meeting, young people"s proposals were heard, and discussions were held in the direction of realizing new ideas.
