An info sessıon on "national qualification framework for lifelong learning of the republic of Azerbaijan" was organized at SSU
On November 6, Sumgayit State University held an info session on "National Qualification framework for lifelong learning of the Republic of Azerbaijan"
Gulnar Tahirli, Mehriban Eyvazova, employees of the Vocational and Lifelong Learning department of the Education Institute of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the professors and teachers of the university took part in the event.
The head of the Strategic Development Center of the university Gunel Pashayeva made a speech and greeted the guests and participants. In her speech, she emphasized the great role of the "Lifelong learning" concept in building education in accordance with the requirements of the 21st century in our country. Gunel Pashayeva noted that the university has certain strategies and goals, and comprehensive education services are one direction of this strategy. From this point of view, this information session fully satisfies the interests of the university.
Gulnar Tahirli, a collaborator of the Vocational and Lifelong learning Department of Institute of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan informed the participants about the essence and importance of national qualification frameworks, the European Qualifications Framework for lifelong learning and the Azerbaijan National Qualifications Framework.
During the discussion at the training, rector's adviser Konul Abasli spoke about the opportunities and benefits of lifelong learning and shared examples from international experience in this field. She noted the importance of the role of higher education institutions in promoting lifelong learning.
Later, Mehriban Eyvazova, another employee of the department, gave a presentation on "ADDIE model". Mehriban Eyvazova stated that the main goal here is to inform teachers about the "ADDIE model", which is a pedagogical design model. She noted that ADDIE Instructional design is the process of systematically designing learning experiences and materials for learning and applying new knowledge and skills.
