Victory Day Events are Organized in the Faculties of SSU
Starting from November 6, events dedicated to November 8 "Victory Day" are held in all faculties of Sumgayit State University.
The dear memory of our martyrs, who died for the restoration of our territorial integrity, is commemorated with a minute of silence, videos dedicated to the Victory Day are presented, and various patriotic poems and songs are performed by students.
Deans of the faculty spoke at the events and congratulated the people of Azerbaijan on Victory Day. Speaking about the historical significance of the Patriotic War, the realities emerging in the region, they talked about President Ilham Aliyev's Victory Chronicle. The education of young people in the spirit of patriotism is one of the main factors determining our Victory in the Patriotic War, they reminded the bravery and heroism of the university graduates in the 44-day Patriotic War, and pointed out that they fulfilled their duties to the Motherland.
It was reported in the speeches that during the Patriotic War, the people of Azerbaijan united closely around their leader - the victorious Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, and demonstrated their strength, determination, and struggle to the whole world.
