INFORMATION SESSION ABOUT ADA UNIVERSITY MASTER'S DEGREE AT SSU
Sumgayit State University expands its cooperation with other universities, taking into account the importance of practical knowledge and skills, competence in addition to academic knowledge. In this direction, SSU successfully continues its cooperation with ADA University. On December 8, the head of the Communication and digital media program of ADA University, Shafag Mehraliyeva, and the employee of the Student Admission department, Mahnur Abbasova, visited SSU.
Speaking at the event, director of Strategic Development Center of SSU, Gunel Pashayeva greeted the guests and participants, expressed her satisfaction to see the employees of ADA University, one of the most advanced universities of Azerbaijan, and talked about the visits of SSU delegation to ADA University in recent months as part of experience exchange. Gunel Pashayeva, who gave information about personnel training directions and existing qualifications at Sumgayit State University, spoke about the reforms carried out in the direction of increasing the quality of teaching, the efficiency of scientific activity and applying innovative methods in university management.
Mahnur Abbasova, a collegue of the Student Admission Department of ADA University spoke about the history of ADA University and said that our university was established on the basis of the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the University of Information Technologies in the Republic of Azerbaijan by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated January 13, 2014. The main goal of the higher education institution is to prepare global leaders in diplomacy, public relations, business, information technology and systems engineering.
Then Mahnur Abbasova introduced the students to the rules of admission to ADA University and emphasized that the main purpose of the lecture is to inform students about the master's level of education.
Shafag Mehraliyeva, the head of ADA Communication and digital media program, gave a presentation on "Top 10 skills" at the World Economic Forum. Students' questions were answered at the event held in the form of mutual discussions.
