On 14, December, a collaboration contract was signed among, Sumgayit State University, Oil-chemicale processes Inustitute, Catalysis and inorganic chemistry Institute and Polymer materials Institute of Azerbaijan National Academy of  Sciences. The president of ANAS, academic  Akif Alizadeh and  other officials of these Institutes visited SSU. The  Rector of the University, professor Elkhan Huseynov stated that he was very glad to see the guests  at our  university. They exchanged ideas about the development of  science and education around  the round table.    They honored  national leader Haydar Aliyev’s  great  memory with  respect putting bunches of flowers before his bust. The  guests leader  interested with national wide  Heydar Aliyev’s photos rellecting his childhood, adolescence student and government years.
The Rector gave  detailed information  about the history and activity  derections of the university, and inter national, programs  and projects    it hold. The  president of ANAS, academic  Akif Alizadeh expressed satisfaction of being in Sumgayit State University in his speech. Then he stressed that national leader Heydar Aliyev always appreciated scientists  and science.
Various problems as involving  teachers and students to the institutes, making  different  projects were discussed  among the institutes  We are sure that strengthening this   relationship   will contribute to the development of Azerbaijan education and science.
