On February 20, a meeting with students who graduated from the project was held by the Agency for Innovation and Digital Development with the participation of mentors within the framework of the "Technest University" project at Sumgayit State University.

Rector of Sumgayit State University, associate professor Rufat Azizov, opened the meeting and greeted the guests and participants, talking about the importance of the "Technest University" project and drawing attention to the necessity of ICT skills assessment in the modern era, and the wide use of artificial intelligence technologies in this field. He said that as in all fields, the development of information and communication technologies (ICT) has been identified as the main goal in the education system of the country. Various projects are implemented in this direction every year. Among them, the "Technest University" project was successfully implemented and supported hundreds of students. The main purpose of the meeting is to discuss the results and expectations of the students from the program, and to provide information about the relevant work areas of the human resources representatives of the companies invited by IRIA, as well as to conduct negotiations with potential students about their future work lives.

At the end of his speech, the rector advised the students to benefit from such projects.

Then Gulnar Mirhuseynova, an employee of "Code Academy", spoke about what qualifications are in demand in the field of ICT and the steps taken to meet this demand. In addition, he informed the participants about the "Technest" project. He noted that "Technest University" is a project aimed at acquiring more practical knowledge and applying theoretical knowledge in practice to young people studying in the field of ICT both in the capital and in the regions. More than 200 students were supported in Baku within the project. In the 2022-2023 academic year, for the first time, with the support of the Innovation and Digital Development Agency, the mentioned project was implemented in the regions. Work on the project was carried out in 3 regions - Ganja, Sumgayit and Lankaran State Universities.

Tuğrul Kapucuoğlu, senior Business Development specialist of Code Academy, spoke about the activities of the Academy. He said that "Code Academy" company is an innovative educational center that lays the foundation for radical changes in the IT-based educational sector. This year, Sumgayit State University (SSU) had a total of 64 graduates from the "Web Programming Essentials" and "IT Helpdesk" specializations. In addition, students studying at these universities have passed the selection rounds of the "Technest" scholarship program for one semester. At the end of the semester, the students presented their final projects separately and were awarded diplomas of the educational center. "Technest" Scholarship Program continues to support all citizens of the country to study #ICT.

Then Eshgin Jafarov, an employee of "PASHA Holding", noted that numerous projects are being implemented in the field of ICT, called on young people to be active in this field and answered the questions of the students.
