A MEETING WITH GRADUATES WAS HELD AT SUMGAIT STATE UNIVERSITY
On March 12, Sumgait State University hosted a meeting with graduates of previous years organized by the Career and Alumni Center.
Rector of the university, associate professor Rufat Azizov, management staff of the university and former graduates of SSU participated in the event.
Rector of the university, associate professor Rufat Azizov, opened the meeting and greeted the guests, thanked them for participating in the meeting. Noting that SSU always pays attention to its graduates, the rector said that due to the knowledge and experience gained by the students studying at SSU, there is a need for the support of graduates in the formation of specialists and in the development of their careers.
Today, in order for many industrial enterprises to renew their personnel potential with the graduates of Sumgait State University, increasing the quality of education and introducing new content is one of the priority issues. In this direction, the reforms carried out in the university and the formation of a transparent educational environment create wide opportunities for students.
Then Nasiba Amirbeyova, director of SSU's Career and Alumni Center, informed the graduates about the activities of the center. She informed about the establishment of the ‘Alumni Association’ at SSU and talked about the responsibilities of the graduates in this direction. Talking about the work done at SSU, new projects, she noted that the innovations achieved in the scientific field, further improvement of the quality of education, international relations, cooperation with state and private enterprises will be continued on a wider platform.
At the cordial meeting, proposals were made in the field of strengthening relations and establishing close cooperation between Sumgait State University and graduates.
The graduates of SSU gave a speech and shared their good memories. The graduates, who noted that they were satisfied with the participation in the meeting, highly valued the recent developments in the university.
