Four students of Sumgait State University: Nübar Najafli, Ilgar Hasanli, Chemical Engineering students of the faculty of Engineering, Afsana Aghayeva and Asiman Shahkerimli, have had the opportunity to participate in the summer internship program at "SOCAR Turkey". On June 25, SSU director of Career and graduate employment center Nasiba Amirbeyova met with the students who won the right to participate in the summer internship program and stated that such internship programs will greatly contribute to their future careers and wished the students success. Nasiba Amirbeyova, who spoke about the university-industry cooperation, which includes practical environment for students and application of theoretical knowledge, scientific and technological development, said that SSU students were introduced to all management and production enterprises of SOCAR, international companies operating in our country, as well as "Petkim" company of Turkey for production experience, which is a clear indicator of the university"s close relationship with industrial enterprises and the wide opportunities created for students" future careers. Note that the internship program will last two months. Our students will have an internship at "SOCAR Downstream" from July 8 to August 2, and at "SOCAR Turkey" from August 6 to September 3.
