20th of January is a heroic page of our history
On 19th of January a group of students of the Faculty of History took part in the event dedicated to 20th of January tragedy, in History Museum of Sumgait . The director of museum Olya Islamova gave detailed information about the occurrence of the tragedy. After this, the head of the department of "The ancient and medieval history" Samir Kerimli spoke about national liberation struggle of our people in those days, the aggressive policy of Armenia against Azerbaijan. The fourth-year students of the Faculty of History and Geography and Mirshamxal Hasanli and Vaqifli Farid also expressed their feelings.
