On September 13, representatives of Negeri Surabaya State University of Indonesia visited Sumgayit State University (SSU).
Elshad Abdullayev, vice-rector for science and innovation, opened the meeting and informed the guests about the history, structure, scientific research activities and goals of SSU. Speaking about Negeri Surabaya State University, Professor Nadi Suprapto talked about the university's structure, educational programs, faculties, foreign students and sustainability activities.
During the meeting, cooperation opportunities were discussed between the two universities in scientific-research, advising of master's and doctoral students, teacher and student mobility and other fields.
Later, the guests had the opportunity to get acquainted with the campus of the university.
