Under the organization of Sumgayit State University's (SSU) Student Scientific Society and Student Trade Union Committee, a "Scientific research" knowledge competition was held on the subject of Mathematics, dedicated to the "Year of Solidarity for the Green World". In the first round of the two-stage competition, 40 students competed to test their knowledge and analytical skills. At the end of this stage, which took place in tense and competitive conditions, 7 students qualified for the second round. In the second stage, those 7 students presented their scientific research. Their speeches were evaluated by a jury consisting of teachers of the Department of Teaching Technology of Mathematics and Informatics. According to the results, Mammadli Hamza, a student of group 471 of the Faculty of Mathematics, was awarded the first place, Samadzade Zarifa, a student of group 472, the second place, and Huseynova Ragsana, a  student of group 471, were awarded the third place. The winners were awarded with honorary certificates and prizes.
