On December 24, a meeting on the topic of ‘Exam stress as a result of mental processes’ was held at Sumgayit State University, with the support of the Student Youth Organization and the Psychological Service Center and the Student Trade Union. The meeting was attended by employees and students of our university. Aytekin Mammadova, who made the opening speech, informed the participants about the Psychological Service Center and then gave the floor to the speakers. Psychology teacher, lecturer Zulfiya Musayeva made a presentation and talked about the negative and positive aspects of exam anxiety, as well as ways to solve it. Then, Doctor of Philosophy in Psychology, Associate Professor Kamala Salamova spoke about the complications of stress (uncertainty in knowledge, disruption of sleep and eating habits, strong mental load and increased static load). At the end of the meeting, students were given the opportunity to ask questions and receive information.
