On January 6, an educational seminar entitled ‘How to fight against bullying?’ was held in secondary schools No. 3 and 10 of Sumgayit city, jointly organized by the Faculty of Philology of Sumgayit State University and the Psychological Service Center. Associate Professor Aytekin Mammadova, Head of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology, opened the seminar and emphasized the importance of cooperation between parents, teachers and students in preventing bullying. She noted that the main goal of the seminar is to ensure a healthy moral and psychological environment in schools and help protect students from physical and psychological violence. Then, Associate Professor of the Department Shahnaz Guliyeva, ‘Bullying and those exposed to bullying’, and teacher Rima Eyyubova, ‘Methods of fighting bullying’. The participants were provided with detailed information at the seminar about various forms of bullying, its negative effects on students, and effective methods of combating this issue. The seminar, which continued in an interactive format, included discussions on the topic and answers to questions of interest to students.
