Sumgayit State University (SSU) implements many projects and programs to support the development of students and encourage their involvement in training in accordance with modern requirements in the field of education and scientific research. The university uses local and international cooperation opportunities to create conditions for students to gain experience in various fields. In this direction, on December 25-26, 2024, master's students of the Faculty of Natural Sciences of SSU Huseyn Abdullayev and Mirhuseyn Agalarov participated in the training of the ‘I BSU School for Green and Sustainable Science and Education’ dedicated to the 105th anniversary of BSU and the ‘Year of Solidarity for a Green World’ jointly organized by Baku State University (BSU), the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO) and the ‘Erasmus+Jean Monnet Module’ project. The two-day training in English included scientific and educational presentations by leading scientists and education experts from BSU and international organizations on nanotechnology, sustainable agriculture, drug design, and environmental safety. At the end of the training, our master's students were awarded certificates.
