The Head of the Department of Energy of the Faculty of Engineering, Khayala Aliguliyeva, and teachers K. Hajiyeva, A. Shirinova, S. Abdullayeva, G. Huseynova, A. Talifli, as well as teaching assistant Z. Hajiyev, participated in a 7-day theoretical and practical training entitled "General principles of entering and setting up the SCADA system" organized at the Training and Innovation Center of "Azerishig" OJSC. On the first day of the training, the participants received detailed information about the structure of "Azerishig" OJSC and the existing network and became familiar with safety regulations. They also gained practical knowledge about setting up and managing a micro SCADA system, collecting data in the SCADA system, and reading archive materials. In addition, other employees of the department participated in a 5-day theoretical and practical training entitled "Energy Supply" at the Training Center of the Azerbaijan Scientific Research and Design-Research Institute of Energy, obtaining important information for conducting industry-oriented classes. At the beginning of the training, the participants were familiarized with the technical safety regulations, received information about the general structure of “Azerenergy” OJSC and the laboratories at the Training Center.In the following days, V. Nasibov and R. Ganjaliyev, a graduate of SSU, provided detailed information that meets modern requirements on the SCADA system installed in the Main Dispatch Center of “Azerenergy” OJSC, the production, transmission and distribution of electric energy, its management, protection of electrical systems and equipment, alternative energy sources, switching devices and devices.It was noted that the subjects taught on the basis of this information pay attention to industrial-oriented topics such as production, transmission and distribution of electric energy, protection of electrical systems and equipment, switching devices, as well as industrial power supply.
