In Dec 22 the Students’ Scientific Board (SSB) of SSU has held an election conference. Making an opening speech in the conference the vise rector on Innovation and Sciences professor Mr. Ramazan Mammadov widely spoke about the complex development of the university, the activity of SSB, the essence of it and the role of the students in this field. Meanwhile, he notified that SSB fulfills the satisfactory work in order to involve the students into the scientific research works and conduction of the scientific investigations. In its turn, it’s stimulus in order to identify the students’ scientific potentiality and to create an interest of the students. Nowadays, the Republic of Azerbaijan is passing through the rapid development and the field of the education is also experiencing the successful growth as well the other fields. President Mr. Ilham Aliyev realizes the reforms successfully that Haydar Aliyev started before and always pays a special attention on development of education. And, currently the education is one of the priorities. Namely, the care and attention of the state to the youth stimulates the self-confidence and knowledge capacity of Azerbaijan youth. Our students are increasing the reputation of the university and the country in the international scientific conferences by their successful presentations. The vise rector noticed as well that our university cooperates with the leading universities worldwide. Within the scale of the cooperation the mutual projects, academic exchange and the conferences are under realization. Meanwhile, our university is a member of the several associations. In the end of the speech Mr. Ramazan Mammadov wished the luck to all students and delivered his best regards to the new elected staff.
The head of the SSB Mrs. Zamila Abdullayeva made a wide speech on the SSB’s annual report. In the same time docent Mr. Islam Pashayev spoke about the successful activity of the SSB and noted that the youth plays a significant role in the public social and cultural social life of the country. And the main goal of SSB is to identify the talented youth and to deliver their knowledge to the future generations. During the speech Mr. Pashayev recommended to students to run seriously scientific works. 
Afterwards, the student of the university, namely Ofelya Safarova (the faculty of the mathematics), Tofiq Adigozelov (faculty of Physics and electro energetic), Gunel Rahimova (faculty of Chemistry and Biology), Amira Guluzade (faculty of Engineering), Turkan Yildiz (faculty of History and Geography), Saleh Musayev (faculty of Economy and Management) and Vusal Sabizade (faculty of Philology) made the speeches as well.
The conference was ended by the election of the Board members.
