Mrs. Ayguna Babazade, the representative of popular analytical- scientific information provider “Thomson Reuters” made a presentation for the academic staff of the university on February 23. The vise-rector on Sciences and Innovations Mr. Ramazan Mammadov welcomed the guest and notified that: “more than 40 high schools will be able to access the platform of Thomason Reuters Web of Science on the basis of cooperation agreement between The Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan Republic and Department of Intellectual Property and Science Business of Thomson Reuters. The Thomson Reuters is a very popular citation  indexing service worldwide. This agreement will bring about the growth of scientific activity and improvement of its quality in Azerbaijan. So, it is very good chance to grow up the reputation of Azerbaijan in the world”. The speaker noted as well that the access to the platform Web of Science and InCites database will provide an opportunity to our scholars in order to be familiar with the popular scientific journals of the world. 
The representative of “Thomson Reuters” portal to Azerbaijan, Mrs. Aygun Babazade widely spoke about the rules and methods of using of the web site. Namely she presented ways how to publish the articles in the journals, how to manage with the effective ways of searching ant etc. 
In the end of the presentation Mrs. Babazade met all questions of the audience accordingly.
