On May 5, Scientific-practical conference was held on the topic “Heydar Aliyev’s life is a school of life” in Heydar Aliyev Centre in our university.
Firstly, Great Leader’s memory was remembered with one minute silence. Vice-rector on Humanitarian issues, assist prof. Ramis Huseynov notified that, these conferences are held with the aim of teaching young generation rich ideas of Heydar Aliyev with new methods, as well as to learn, teach and promote conceptions of statehood and Azerbaijanism of his heritage. He widely spoke about Heydar Aliyev’s significant role in statehood history and destiny of Azerbaijani people, the mission of national emancipation. Vice-rector pointed out that, since 1993, as a result of Heydar Aliyev’s successful policy Azerbaijan has been escaped from the threat of collapse and turned to be a developing state. Uniting nation around himself, he prevented insidious intents of internal and external forces. He succeeded in strong army establishment. Education matters have special place at Heydar Aliyev’s comprehensive activity. Over the years, led by Great Leader, he could achieve the establishment of intellectual cadre potential and foundation for living independently.  Mr. Ramis Huseynov mentioned that, the activity of national leader Heydar Aliyev, who devoted his life to his nation and state works, will remain forever in the memory of our people.
Afterwards, the following people made speeches accordingly: Dean of history and geography department, professor Adil Baxshaliyev : “Heydar Aliyev is an architect of Azerbaijani statehood”; head of the department of Azerbaijani and foreign countries’ literature, assist prof, honored journalist Aftandil Mammadov: “Heydar Aliyev is a protector of national and moral values”; assist prof of Business administration and management department, Qalib Huseynov : “Heydar Aliyev as a leader and the symbol of Azerbaijanis in the world”; professor of chemistry and its teaching methods department, Muxtar Samadov: “Political pressure period in Heydar Aliyev’s life”; second course student of Engineering faculty, Senan Hasanov : “Heritage of Heydar Aliyev  is the school of patriotism”; second course student of chemistry and biology faculty, Gunel Rahimova: “National Leader of Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev will live forever in the hearts of youth”; second course student of physics and electro energetics faculty, Sanan Ahmadov : “Independent Azerbaijan is a magnificent monument of Heydar Aliyev, rising on a firm foundation”; third course student of mathematics faculty, Leyla Huseynova: “Heydar Aliyev is an architect of our Independence”. They widely spoke about role of Heydar Aliyev in independent Azerbaijani history, as well as his successful policy. Speakers also notified that, not surprisingly, the years led by Great Leader are remembered as the golden period of history in our memories.
