On November 16, with the organization of engineering faculty the event was held dedicated to Flag Day, Constitution Day of Azerbaijan Republic and National Revival Day.
After playing the state anthem a video was demonstrated about our national flag. 
Ulduz Aghayev, docent, dean of engineering faculty opening the event congratulated teachers and students on this important day. He noted that state banner is source of pride for us. Also, it is sacred for every Azerbaijani citizen and its historical significance has been passed on from generation to generation.
Then, in his speech he focused on establishment of the Constitution and its importance. Special commission headed by Heydar Aliyev was set for establishment of the constitution and was introduced to public discussion. In 1995, on November 12 the first Constitution of independent Azerbaijan was adopted.
Ulduz Aghayev also noted that challenge movement that began on November 17 in 1988 founded independent Azerbaijan. 
Aynur Nabiyeva, Sanan Hasanov, Shafiga Kazimova, Araz Hilalov, Mirjavid Ibrahimov, Miralim Baghirov, Samira Ismayilova, Aydan Musayeva and Farid Maharramov, students of engineering faculty talked about the importance of the day. They noted that Heydar Aliyev’s presidency is the beginning of new era in history of Azerbaijan. Now Ilham Aliyev carries on Heydar Aliyev’s course. 
In the event students recited poems dedicated to flag and sang songs about patriotism. Children of the kindergarten №44 participated in the event and recited poems.
