Professor Tatyana Prosochkina head of department of Petrochemistry and chemical technologies of Technology faculty in Ufa State Oil Technical University who was in 7 days tour in Sumgayit State University shared her impressions with the employee of Press service of USOTU. She notified that, she delivered the lectures to students through the week on “Basic development directions of modern catalytic science”, “Petrochemistry and theoretical bases of oil refinery” and “Scientific directions of department of petrochemistry and chemistry technologies of USOTU”. Professor widely spoke about her university and responded questions of the students. 
Rector of University, co-chair of Association of Russian-Azerbaijan Universities Elkhan Huseynov received our delegation. We gained information on Azerbaijan history and development plans of the university. He expressed his hope on strengthening future cooperation between USOTU and SSU. Pleasant words were addressed to Professor Ramil Nazifovich Bakhtizin, rector of USOTU, co-chair of Russia-Azerbaijan Universities Association. We were informed that academician R.N.Bakhtizin was awarded with scientific name of honorary doctor of SSU with the decision of Scientific Board. Elkhan Huseynov noted that scientific community in Azerbaijan is greatful to USOTU for high appreciation Azad Khalil oghlu Mirzajanzade’s (who was one of founders of ANAS) contributions to science and for holding international conference in USOTU dedicated to him. Then, it was noted that a new dormitory for foreign students will be put into operation in near future. He also emphasized the possibility of application of dual diplomas for our students.
The excursion was organized for Professor Tatyana Prosochkina and several students to Sumgayit Technologies Park accompanied by dean of Chemistry and biology faculty docent Mahal Muradov.  Every plant in STP was equipped with new technological equipment produced in Europe. Raw materials for production are imported from European countries. Total area of STP is 250 hectare and it will be enlarged in the future. STP includes several plants as heavy machinery, pressing, technical gases, galvanizing, polymer products, metal welding, cable, electrical equipment, electronic devices, production of solar collectors. Delegation of USOTU observed the production and equipment in STP. Professor Tatyana Prosochkina expressed her gratitude for pleasant reception and welcome.
